Partypalooza's Kids Party Tip of the Week!
TODDLER PARTY FUN! |

|
Provide each child with their own beach ball to roll across a room or the yard. Toddlers love to mimic, so have an older child or one of the parents get the rolling going! Another activity is to have a wagon parade. Ask each guest to bring a ride on toy or a wagon. Line up the toddler train and have a parade around the yard or down the street and back again. This is a great photo opportunity! Motor skills develop at different rates. By offering a variety of activities for different skill levels or activities that are appropriate for a wide age range, you make it more likely that the toddlers will remain content. Coloring pages and crayons are an example of an activity that can be done on many levels. Some children will be able to color in large areas of a picture while others will contentedly scribble anywhere on the page! Lastly, keep your toddler party short and sweet! It's hard for younger children to be stimulated for hours on end, and it's better to send families home happy before the little ones get overtired or overstimulated. |
